The default dimension for all photos uploaded is 640 px x 480 px. In other words, whichever camera is used to capture a photo, SnagR automatically compresses it so that the photos provide optimal clarity without having to take up a large amount of data storage. The storage size of each photo is usually around 200-300 KB.
When to increase photo size?
In specific cases increasing photo size can be helpful. One use case is to display texts clearly on a photo. For example, to take photos of a permit or warning sign, you may not want the texts in the photo to be blurred out because you need it to prove an expired permit or missing items on a warning sign.
Be aware this also increases the data that is required to store the photo. The data to be synchronised and issue reports generated will increase alongside.
